Théâtre sensoriel
Sensory theatre activities where children will tell a story through their senses and will be able to build a stage space.
Guatemala Project 2025–26: Building Bridges of Solidarity
This project connects EEB1 students with educational communities in Guatemala through a hands-on solidarity initiative that combines learning, action, and cultural exchange. Through school-based activities, child sponsorship, and a pedagogical trip to Guatemala, students support local schools while developing empathy, global awareness, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Voices of Unity – EEB1 Secondary Choir at the Fingal International Festival of Voices 2026
The EEB1 Secondary Choir is a large, inclusive and dynamic group that brings together students from across language Sections to grow musically while building teamwork, confidence and a strong sense of belonging. This project aims to represent EEB1 at the Fingal International Festival of Voices 2026 in Ireland, where the choir will perform, compete, and connect with young singers from around the world.
Poetry Slam – From the Written Word to the Poetic Act
This project introduces students to poetry slam through an interactive workshop that turns writing into a live performance. Guided by professional theatre artists, students explore creativity, self-expression and teamwork, moving from the written word to the stage through voice, movement and collaboration. The project encourages confidence, inclusion and active participation, culminating in a dynamic public poetry slam performance.
Parabolorum theatre in Spanish
This theatre project will bring together students and teachers to stage La Farsa Italiana de la Enamorada del Rey by Ramón María del Valle-Inclán, a modernist Spanish classic, through an intensive year-long creative process. Beyond acting, participants will collaborate on sets, costumes and staging, developing confidence, teamwork, creativity and emotional expression.
Mindful Learners
Mindfulness Learners is a mindfulness programme for schools that aims to enhance students' well-being by improving emotional self-regulation, concentration and resilience. It seeks to foster a more positive and engaged learning environment by equipping students with practical tools to manage stress and anxiety, improve focus, and cultivate greater calm and self-awareness. The project will be implemented through two intensive sessions per group, designed and facilitated by a trained mindfulness practitioner.
Eurosport uniforms
This project aims to provide EEB1 Eurosport athletes with high-quality, comfortable and durable uniforms while reducing the environmental impact of textile production and consumption. It also seeks to promote a modern, consistent and sustainable image for Eurosport and Mini Eurosport, ensuring long-lasting uniforms that limit the need for frequent replacement.
The Martian Language Club
The Martian Language Club, founded in 2025, supports awareness and understanding of autism and ADHD by offering a safe, inclusive space for neurodivergent students, teachers and interested peers. Through games, discussions, and role-play, the club builds confidence and practical strategies for success, with plans to expand into staff training led by experienced specialists.
EEB1 Symphonic Orchestra concerts in Alicante in April 2026
The EEB1 Symphonic Orchestra will travel to Alicante (Spain) in April 2026 to give several free public concerts in cooperation with the European School of Alicante. Through an accessible and inspiring programme of well-known orchestral works, the project introduces young musicians to high-quality ensemble performance while sharing classical music with a wide audience. The trip strengthens musical skills, teamwork and inclusion, and allows the orchestra to act as a cultural ambassador for the European School Brussels I.
Performance and Media course
The Performance and Media (PAM) course brings together S6–S7 students from different language Sections to create and perform theatre in English. This project aims to overcome space limitations by using external venues, support the costs of live performances, and build a shared collection of props and costumes. Its goal is to give students a real stage, share their work with the school community, and strengthen the profile of theatre studies at EEB1.
Soft Room
This project aims to better support the growing number of students with special educational needs by equipping the school’s Soft Rooms with appropriate sensory materials. These calming spaces help children manage sensory overload, regulate emotions and feel safe during difficult moments. By enhancing the Soft Rooms, the project supports well-being, focus and inclusion for all students.
