TRANSPORT AND WINTRY WEATHER (19/01/2015)

According to the weather (snow or black ice), 3 scenarios may present themselves, with their respective solutions in terms of school transport:

  1. Light snowfall: the transport will adopt the “CIRCUITS NEIGE” (or “circuits bis”) (snow routes or alternative routes);
  2. A lot of snow and/or black ice: the transport will adopt the “CIRCUITS EXTRA-NEIGE” (extra snow routes);
  3. When weather conditions are such that it is not safe to provide transport: there will be no school transport.

When we are faced with this wintry weather, please consult the APEEE site in order to check the route which will be used by the bus:

  • the evening before, the transport service shall post the information, if possible by 18.00;
  • the same morning, before your children leave the house, in case of sudden changes or unforeseen weather.

The information shall appear on the home page of our site.

You just need to click on the banner (which will already indicate the set up circuit) to get to the transport service page, a page where you will find more information and in particular the bus routes adapted for wintry conditions :

  • Uccle site: heading “Horaire hiver neige” (winter snow timetable) or “Horaire hiver extra-neige et verglas” (extra-snow and black ice winter timetable);
  • Berkendael site: heading “Horaire hiver neige” (winter snow timetable) or “Horaire hiver extra-neige et verglas” (extra-snow and black ice winter timetable).
